Rabbi Yitzchok Adlerstein is head Rabbi of the Sharon Price Jewish Studies
Institute. He also is a magid shuir at Yeshiva
of Los Angeles and a noted speaker. He also writes for the Jewish Action
about Jewish Software and the Internet.
Delivered before the Los Angeles Federation in December 1996, Rabbi Adlerstein
explains to an overwhelmingly non-Orthodox audience why the Israeli status
quo on conversion according to Halacha should be maintained.
