With the Help of Hashem
Dated the second day of Rosh Chodesh for the month which we bless with joy Adar Alef 5765 on the Parsha of "And they made for me a temple and I dwelled within them."
You my beloved student Tal Moshe Zwecker an avrech as in the simple and homiletical meaning (this refers to Rashis interpretation (Parshas Miketz Genesis 41:43) young in years and old in wisdom) have asked me to write this.
I have seen your handiwork, you merited to translate portions from the holy book the sefer Noam Elimelech authored by our master and teacher the Rabbi of all Israel Rebbe Elimelech of Lyzhansk may the memory of the holy righteous be a blessing in the next world.
You have gathered flowers from among the roses, from each parsha you selected teachings and translated them into the English language and added a few of your own explanations in order to help the reader understand them. You also added stories from the students of the Holy Baal Shem Tov and their student’s students as well.
You did all this in good taste and with good judgment with the help of Hashem, in order to help those who have not yet merited tasting from the original source yet. To give them a taste as it says "Taste and see that Hashem is good."
Although I myself know that I am not worthy to be the head of those who give a haskama, approbation, however I am obligated to present and introduce the author since he is not well known in every place. I know him to be Baruch Hashem, an outstanding avrech who sits in the tent of Torah, who draws from the well and gives others to drink.
Although I did not personally review the sefer and I do not read the English language I do understand it. I listened as you read to me several pieces from the sefer and I can say that you understood them and translated them faithfully and correctly according to at least one of the many interpretations that there are. Because we are talking about a holy sefer that the earlier Rabbis said regarding it that even the angels themselves each interpret it according to their own level. You too have understood according to your own personal level.
May it be Hashem’s will that these words will kindle the flames of those who seek Torah, Chassidus and Pure Fear of Heaven. Amen.
I hereby bless you with the blessing of a hedyot (non-Kohen) that you should succeed in this and all other endeavors and that through your handiwork you will merit to teach the masses, may nothing blemished or mistaken come from your handiwork, You should succeed in all your actions and doings in honor of His Name.
